BSF II SERGE with new C-s3,d0 reaction
to fire classification

This is an important update for blind manufacturers, distributors and project partners who need documented fire-performance data for professional applications.

The BSF II Serge fabric has successfully passed fire reaction tests in accordance with EN 13823 (SBI – Single Burning Item) and has been classified as C-s3, d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1. The test was conducted on a representative color, which allows the result to be applied to the entire BSF II product range in accordance with textile classification principles.

What does this mean in practice:

  • C – limited impact on the spread of fire
  • s3 – smoke density typical of screen fabrics
  • d0 – without burning droplets or particles
